This coffeemaker brews up to twelve 5-ounce cups of coffee at a high temperature with an accelerated speed--35 seconds per cup, with a four-cup minimum. For a quick pour, the coffeemaker automatically pauses the brewing process for 30 seconds when the carafe is removed from its warming plate. The glass carafe has a guard to protect the knuckles and is dishwasher-safe. On the coffeemaker's left side is a transparent gauge for monitoring the water level. The filter basket accommodates cone-shaped paper filters and removes for filling and cleaning.
